The pages that earn a slot in the new Personal dropdown, the pages that need finishing first, and what the audit of the personal side found along the way. Companion to the Business shortlist.
Two questions organise the personal side: why you are transferring, and where from. The corridor group points at currency-pair URLs because that is where the written content lives today. Once the countries template is wired to the content loader, the same six labels should switch to the corridor URLs whose slugs match how people search.
Forward contracts stay one page. The SEO review recommends that only /forward-contracts carries "forward contract" in its title, because private clients do not search that phrase. They search the problem: "lock in exchange rate when buying property abroad". So the Personal entry is labelled "Fix a rate for a future payment" and points at the product page until a guide-shaped use-case page exists. Two product pages with the same H1 would compete for one ranking and canonicals could not rescue it.
| Group | Nav label | URL | Words | State today | Conf. |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Overview | Personal Transfers | /personal-transfers | 509 | Real hub with the live rate widget and the £5,000 minimum stated. Its FAQ block renders two tabs with fifteen empty placeholders each, and the testimonials section appears twice with the second copy blank. Same template bug as the Business hub. | High |
| Why | Buying property abroad | /personal-transfers/overseas-property | 701 | Best of the four reason pages, 17 inbound links, property-specific forward copy. One testimonial still says TransferWise. Claims "up to £5,000 saved per £100,000". | High |
| Why | Expat money transfers | /personal-transfers/expat-money-transfers | 680 | The most on-market copy in the batch, with the only Personal Currency Concierge section. Six inbound links. | High |
| Why | Large one-off transfers | /personal-transfers/large-money-transfers | 716 | Strongest trust copy, closest match to the £10,000-plus positioning, yet only one inbound link. Security section is empty in the custom fields. | Medium |
| Why | Fix a rate for a future payment | /forward-contracts interim target | 583 | Shared product page, already dual-audience. Says 12-month maximum tenor while /product says two years. Soften "your funds are safe and secure" to the partners wording. | High |
| Gulf | Saudi Arabia expat guide | /saudi-expat-guide | 415 | Healthy indexable lead magnet with a live Pipedrive form and seven blog inbound links. Zero outbound links. The three duplicate Saudi landing pages fold into it. | High |
| Send from | UAE to UK | /currencies/transfer-aed-to-gbp/ | 1,608 | Richest page on the site: dirham peg, cut-off times, Dubai salary repatriation, ISA and SIPP, HMRC self-assessment. Exactly the target persona. | High |
| Send from | UAE to US | /currencies/transfer-aed-to-usd/ | 1,655 | Same treatment. Critical corridor. | High |
| Send from | Saudi Arabia to UK | /currencies/transfer-sar-to-gbp/ | 1,640 | Critical corridor. Pairs naturally with the Saudi expat guide. | High |
| Send from | Saudi Arabia to Europe | /currencies/transfer-sar-to-eur/ | 1,612 | Covers the Vision 2030 worker buying in Europe. | High |
| Send from | UK to Europe | /currencies/transfer-gbp-to-eur/ | ~1,225 | Highest-volume UK-origin pair, generic content tier. Already links onward to the Spain guide. | Medium |
| Send from | UK to Australia | /currencies/transfer-gbp-to-aud/ | ~1,225 | Pension and emigration reader. Generic content tier. | Medium |
| Tools | Spot Transfers | /spot-transfers | 487 | Shared product page, solid. Also in Business. | High |
| Tools | Rate Alerts | /rate-alerts | 339 | Personal-leaning free tool. 142 inbound links. | Medium |
| Tools | Help & FAQs | /faq | 183 | Right destination, last item in the dropdown, but the index shows only 17 of 35 answers. The hidden half includes the best personal answer on hedging, the Saudi proof-of-address guide and all account-security help. | High |
| Hub only | Overseas tuition transfers | /personal-transfers/tuition-payments | 616 | Thinnest reason page and nothing on it says high-value. Stays linked from the hub, not the nav. | Medium |
| Group | Nav label | Source | Status | What is outstanding |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Property | Buying property in Spain | /buying-property-in-spain + 4 spokesbranch property-spain-israel, commit 7650506 | BUILT | Around 27,000 words per country in versioned PHP arrays, 107 unique FAQs, worked receipts, dated changelogs, full Article, FAQPage and HowTo schema. Merges cleanly. Live URLs are blank today and ten are indexable. Before publish: name an author, set the callback URL, fix eleven links to five unwritten blog posts, sign off the €500,000 investor-visa threshold and the Israeli purchase-tax table under the regulatory-language rule. |
| Property | Buying property in Israel | /buying-property-in-israel + 4 spokes | BUILT | Same branch and same outstanding items. Reconcile with the 2023 ebook page at /israel-buyers-guide: keep its Pipedrive form as the capture step, rewrite its copy, redirect its two byte-identical /fb and /ppc clones. |
| Why | Fix a rate for a future payment | new guide pagesuggested /personal-transfers/fix-your-exchange-rate | WRITE | Owns "lock in", "fix" and "protect exchange rate" phrasing with a worked fix-or-wait example. Reuse the branch's €270,000 arithmetic. Links up to /forward-contracts and across to the Spain and Israel pages. |
| Why | Salary & bonus repatriation | new reason page | WRITE | The homepage sells "Bonus & Salary Transfers" and links it to the hub because no page exists. The UAE and Saudi pair pages already carry the copy to seed it. |
| Why | Pension & inheritance transfers | new reason page | WRITE | Named in the target market, absent from the site. No draft exists on the reason-for-transfer template. |
| Send from | Switch the six links to corridor URLs | page-countries-template.php | FIX FIRST | The 1,845 corridor pages are 100% templated because the template makes no call to the content loader. Wiring it in, with the destination country passed, unlocks 224 already-written per-country blocks for UAE and Saudi to 28 European destinations and fixes the broken FAQ schema on every corridor page. |
| Send from | All countries & currencies | /countries, /currencies | REBUILD | Neither is an index. /countries is byte-identical to the UK-to-US corridor page with 88 dead picker links. /currencies is a degraded copy of GBP-to-USD. Build a real directory grouped by origin region or leave the item out. |
Twelve property pages have been live, blank and mostly indexable since 12 September with fully optimised titles. Merge the branch or set them to draft this week.
The most-cited FAQ page says any UK payment business not regulated by the FCA is committing a criminal act. CurrencyTransfer Ltd is a UK business that is not FCA regulated. Rewrite before it is linked anywhere.
"FCA-regulated providers" sits in the meta description of all 648 currency-pair pages, and "save up to 85% vs banks" appears in schema, body copy and every sign-up hero. The corridor plan listed removing FCA claims as a key change and it was not carried through.
All 1,845 corridor pages ship FAQPage schema reading "How long does an AE to UK transfer take?" because country codes are passed where currency codes are expected, with no matching visible FAQ.
The Personal hub's FAQ block is empty and its testimonial section is duplicated. Same fix as the Business hub.
Twelve Bangladesh and Sri Lanka currency-pair pages are indexable off-market remittance corridors. The Saudi Arabia and Thailand sign-up form pages are indexable with keyword titles and no H1. Amount pages such as transfer-100000-gbp-to-usd are indexable, near-identical to their base page, and in no sitemap.
Surface all answers across the eight category labels the pages already carry. Merge the four two-factor pages into one, buy and sell currency into one, and fold four stubs into their parents: 35 pages become 26. Retire or rebuild the 2018 ISO currency-code table, which lists five retired codes as current.
Retire /saudi-expats, /internations-sar-expats and the three 2020 PPC shells. Redirect the /israel-buyers-guide clones and the 2023 Riyadh confirmation page.
The four reason pages link only to two product pages, never back to the hub, to each other, or to any corridor page. The MOEX explainer in the FAQ is a real product page with zero links to or from /market-orders.
| Batch | Pages | Headline |
|---|---|---|
| Hub and reason pages | 16 | Reason pages are 90% unique prose, unlike the business sectors. Six of sixteen pages are duplicates of two originals. No salary, pension or inheritance page exists. |
| Property guides | 22 | Twelve blank live pages, one finished branch. Governance items, not content, are what is outstanding. |
| Corridor system | 12 + 2,493 generated | Currency-pair pages are the real asset, with 67 carrying genuine corridor content. Corridor pages differ by four lines across 1,845 URLs. |
| Help centre | 35 | Seventeen answers unreachable from anywhere on the site. Three pages give three different bank-markup figures. No structured data on any page. |
